VICTORIANS EDUCATIONAL TALK

Bring your topic to life with our curriculum-linked talk, presented in our themed education rooms by our dedicated team. We will introduce the Victorian era with a case study of George Cadbury as famous Victorian.

We find out what happened to children from Victorian school to Victorian work, comparing this to the changing life in Bournville and the role George Cadbury and the Cadbury brothers played in changing the lives of people in Birmingham.

CURRICULUM LINKS

Primary Curriculum – KS1: Events beyond living memory that are significant nationally or globally; the lives of significant individuals in the past who have contributed to national and international achievements. Some should be used to compare aspects of life in different periods (Queen Victoria); significant historical events, people and places in their own locality.

KS2: A study of an aspect or theme in British history that extends pupils' chronological knowledge beyond 1066.
