We’re celebrating the most wonderful time of year with a solid milk chocolate Santa Claus in his Christmas Eve scene.

Celebrating the most wonderful time of the year, Cadbury World’s talented chocolatiers have unveiled a fantastically festive creation, which has been produced entirely out of chocolate.

Collins, Phoebe Snow, Eva Ravenscroft and Sonia Field just three days to complete.

Cadbury World’s chocolatiers carved 4 large blocks of milk chocolate to produce the iconic shape of Santa Claus, who stands at 93cm tall. Using coloured cocoa butter, they then hand-painted Santa’s red suit, buckled belt, hat and boots, before hand-piping molten white chocolate to produce his iconic beard and fur trimmed jacket.

Solid milk chocolate was also used to craft the 70cm tall fireplace, paying homage to the traditional Christmas Eve scene. The chocolatiers mixed colourful cocoa butter with chocolate before hand-piping a traditional garland design to the top of the fireplace to create the ultimate Christmas feel.

Festive-themed accessories including a candlestick, traditional clock, intricate feature tiling and woodwork and a crackling fire have all also been produced entirely out of milk chocolate and added to the fireplace, with bronze and gold lustre added as a final flourish.

The finishing touches to the Christmas Eve creation are the chocolatey presents, candy canes, stocking and cookies and milk left for Santa to enjoy. Red, green and gold edible glitter has also been shimmered across areas of the creation to produce a sparkling effect.

A soufflé dish, trifle pots and biscuit packaging are just a few of the household items that the talented chocolatiers used to help produce some of the intricate shapes that feature within the fabulously festive chocolate scene, such as the grate for the roaring fire and the candlesticks.

The magical masterpiece is on display in Cadbury World’s Chocolate Making zone until Friday 30th December as part of the attraction’s annual Christmas celebrations, where families are invited to experience plenty of festive fun and entertainment.

Families can enjoy live entertainment on selected dates throughout the festive period, including the much-loved Santa Show, an enchanting pantomime performance of Cinderella and a special Storytime with Santa, as well as discover the amazing world of Cadbury through an assortment of chocolatey zones.

With so much more on offer, including catching the talented chocolatiers in action in the Chocolate Making zone and riding the Crunchie rollercoaster in the unmissable 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, Cadbury World offers a family day out that’s choc-full of festive fun.
